On July 8, MARKETING-INTERACTIVE announced the winners for their prestigious Agency of the Year awards with OC Digital taking home a total of 8 award trophies across 6 nomination categories. This result is the largest award haul in the agency’s history. The Agency of the Year Award is recognised as Singapore’s and the region’s premier awards programme to measure, reward and recognise the industry’s top-performing agencies.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s ceremony was held and hosted over a virtual announcement webinar but that certainly didn’t dampen the spirit of the team at OC Digital where all staff tuned in from the comfort of their home. The award recognises Benny Ong, Founder & Managing Director, for his resilience and strong beliefs which led the agency through the COVID-19 crisis whilst he also encouraged the agency to continue to nurture local talent, foster leadership and keep communication a priority amongst one another.

OC Digital successfully retained the title of Search Marketing Agency of the Year by taking home the Silver award. The agency was also nominated in another five new award categories and received awards for all of them. The highlight of the night was winning the Digital Agency of the Year, B2B Agency of the Year, Performance Marketing Agency of the Year and Lead Generation Agency of the Year which is usually dominated by global networks and international agencies in the past. OC Digital also walked away with 4 Local Hero Awards, a special category reserved for independent Singaporean agencies, thus elevating OC Digital to become Singapore’s top local digital agency.
